After the Los Angeles Clippers unveiled ‘Chuck the Condor,’ Twitter blew up over the new mascot.
On Monday night, “Chuck the Condor” was introduced to the entire world. The Los Angeles Clippers’ new mascot represents the huge bird that used to soar the skies of the state. Chuck however, was certainly an interesting mascot to say the least.
He has a helmet with the California flag on the side of it and he also wears elbow and knee pads, as if he’s going to start doing some extreme sports. Clippers owner Steve Ballmer was so excited about the edition of Chuck, that he ended up running and doing a dunk off a trampoline.
The whole event was so off the walls, that Twitter immediately blew up over the newest mascot in the NBA.

Needless to say, Chuck has elicited quite the reaction from people around the world. Chuck the Condor was such a huge unveiling, that he ended up trending on Twitter in the United States. He’s terrifying, strange and awesome all rolled into one mascot.
The unveiling of the Clippers’ new logo had ironically the same type of reaction. What the Clippers do isn’t always sound in logic, but they really crank it up when they go for something.
