The NBA isn’t messing around tonight with 11 serious matchups on the board giving us plenty of options for our DFS fantasy basketball lineups.  There is a bunch of 8:00 start times on tonight’s early-heavy schedule with one giant late matchup between the Clippers and the Thunder serving as a great nightcap. For my favorite fantasy options from that game and the rest of tonight’s schedule, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides.

More from Fantasy Basketball

The action gets going tonight at 7:00 PM ET with a pair of games as the Hornets visit the 76ers and the Magic host the Bulls in a pair of Eastern Conference matchups.  At 7:30, two teams from the Western Conference visit Eastern Conference opponents as the Blazers are in Boston and the Jazz head north of the border to take on the Raptors.  At 8:00, ESPN’s double-header starts with the Pistons visiting the Spurs while at the same time four other games get started–Pelicans @ Rockets, Kings @ Grizzlies, Pacers @ Bucks, and Wizards @ Timberwolves. After that flurry of activity, there are only two games left as the Nuggets and Lakers meet up in Denver at 9:00 followed by the big game of the night at 10:30 as Russell Westbrook and the Thunder clash with Chris Paul and the Clippers.

To see the players I think are the best set up for success tonight, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. To help you realize that goal, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to DraftKings pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for FanDuel, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.
