Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green might have made the most ridiculous steal ever against the Atlanta Hawks.
The Golden State Warriors and Atlanta Hawks had quite the battle on Tuesday night, in Oakland. With the Warriors resting Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala, the Hawks were able to keep it close the entire night in a physical affair with the defending champs.
With two key players resting for the Warriors on Tuesday, Draymond Green did his best to step up for the Warriors against Atlanta. Late in the game with the two teams tied, Green might have made the best defensive play of the season by anyone.
With Tim Hardway Jr. driving to the hoop, he got Green turned backwards defensively. Instinctively, Green threw out his right arm and some how grabbed it out of the clutches of Hardaway Jr., as he ripped it out and made probably the biggest defensive play of the season.
Just look at the way Green is able to rip the ball away as Hardway Jr. goes up. Plenty of times, a player will make contact and Hardaway Jr. would be going to the line.
That’s not the case here, as Green made a defensive play that was incredible.
