Finding yourself as the lone defender back on defense as Kevin Durant is running toward you with the basketball seems like a suboptimal place to be. Sadly for noted podcast enthusiast J.J. Redick, that’s exactly where he found himself late in the first half of tonight’s game against the Thunder.

Give Redick credit for not just cowering out of the way in fear, but it was pretty evident before long that he had no real plan for how to keep KD from flying right over him and hammering it home (via @talkhoops):

At the half, K.D. has 16 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three blocks as the Thunder are up 19. He’s decent at the basket ball.
