Los Angeles Lakers point guard Marcelo Huertas threw an insane no-look pass to Larry Nance Jr., who threw down a big slam.
When there’s a team as bad as the Los Angeles Lakers, there’s a good chance that certain players on their team are going to constantly end up on the wrong side of highlights on a nightly basis. Point guard Marcelo Huertas is one of those players that has found himself on the unfortunate receiving end of many of those highlights.
However, on Tuesday night, Huertas finally found himself on the right side of a highlight. With the Brooklyn Nets closing down on him defensively, Huertas noticed that Larry Nance Jr. was trailing with no one around him. Rather than focusing in on Nance Jr., Huertas didn’t look his way and kept the Nets focused on him, as he threw an insane no-look pass right to his teammate, who then jammed it down.
For many Lakers fans that have seen Huertas end up on the wrong side of these consistently, it’s a welcome sight to see him finally have his moment. It was a big moment too, as he displayed some serious passing skills. Even better, he found one of the team’s young talented players.
