The NBA stars and former Miami Heat teammates were seen training together this week in South Florida.
For four seasons, LeBron James and Dwyane Wade got to train whenever they wanted as teammates playing for the Miami Heat. Now, James is back in his home state of Ohio playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, meaning the two friends and NBA stars only get to see themselves a few times when the NBA’s regular season is in full gear.
With the Cavs having several days off between games, King James was able to get back down to the 305 and train with his buddy. LeBron and his wife are in Miami-Dade County, where he got a workout in with trainer David Alexander. While working out, his old teammate “Flash” stopped by to break a sweat:
Now, before fans of the Heat go back to loving the King and thinking that LeBron James and Dwyane Wade are going to be teammates once again, realize that Wade is aging and LeBron is not going to ditch the Cavaliers for a second time. At this point, he’s likely going to play out his final years there.
LeBron and the Cavs will pay another visit to South Florida this season when they take on the Heat on Saturday, March 19.
