Magic’s Mario Hezonja gets up on slam (Video)

Orlando Magic rookie Mario Hezonja got up for a monster slam against the Chicago Bulls.

The Orlando Magic are trying to hang on for their playoff lives and on Wednesday night, the Magic took the fight to the Chicago Bulls, a team that is positioned in front of them in the playoff race. While the Magic haven’t had the success that they would have liked to have seen this season, they have seen some growth from some of their young talent, including rookie guard Mario Hezonja.

Against the Bulls on Wednesday night, Hezonja had one of his most impressive highlights of the season to date, when he showed off his tremendous athletic ability. Everyone knew coming from overseas, that Hezonja could do it all, but probably no one expected him to be able to leap like he has shown he can.

Hezonja earned himself a career high in points and he earned himself a poster, as he went right over the Bulls for this monster slam. Look how high he gets up.

This is a guy that can do more than just shoot the basketball. He has explosive athleticism and the older Bulls found out the hard way what we he can do with the ball in his hands.

There was a clear breakdown in communication on defense for the Bulls, as Derrick Rose threw his arms up in frustration after the play. However, that’s been the case for the Bulls lately, as their defense as a team has gotten progressively worse game in and game out.
