These are the reasons why the Chicago Bulls will make the 2016 NBA Playoffs.

With the calendar turning to March, the 2016 NBA Playoffs draw near. After teams in contention to make the playoffs loaded up their roster for the stretch run with the trade deadline and buyout additions, they are now hoping those moves put them over the top to make a playoff spot.

In the Eastern Conference, there is a fierce battle for the No. 8 seed between the Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Detroit Pistons and Washington Wizards. Before the season began, many would have assumed that the Bulls would be a lock to make the playoffs under new head coach Fred Hoiberg and the emergence of Jimmy Butler.

Instead, the Bulls have never really taken off and found chemistry under Hoiberg and they have had to deal with a variety of major injuries to the roster. This includes losing Joakim Noah for the season, losing Jimmy Butler for a while and having other players miss weeks at a time.

Still, the Bulls find themselves in a fight for that last playoff spot and are going to try their hardest to get there. That means they’re going to have to win key head-to-head games with these teams and take care of their business at home.

It’s not going to be easy for Chicago to get there, especially with the way the Pistons and Wizards have been playing lately, but they do have the experience. If the Bulls are going to get to the 2016 NBA Playoffs, it will be because of these five reasons.
