Terrible basketball sequence leads to D’Angelo Russell three (Video)

Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell made a three to culminate the worst sequence of basketball in the history of basketball.

The Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets are two very bad teams. That’s hardly news and everyone should have expected some bad basketball between the two teams when they met in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. The two sides combined on one sequence for what might be the worst sequence of basketball in history.

It all started when Marcelo Huertas would try to lob the ball to Larry Nance Jr. in transition. Nance Jr. wouldn’t pull down the lob and the Nets would get going the other way. Thomas Robinson would get a full head of steam going and would attempt to pass underneath the hoop, but his pass was picked off by Tarik Black.

Black would then throw it right back to Robinson, who then passed to Chris McCullough for the open look. McCullough would have his shot blocked by Black and then Huertas would find D’Angelo Russell in the corner for an open three.

Russell would nail the three and it capped off probably the most insane and terrible 28 seconds of basketball in history, which saw two big men throw repeated interceptions to each other and plenty of bad offense.

Luckily, the rookie bailed everyone out from bad basketball.
