Taylor Crozier isn’t old enough to drive, but he is old enough to impress Tiger Woods
Considered one of the greatest golfer’s of all time, Tiger Woods has taken a small step back from the game he loves. Due to various injuries to his back and wrist, Tiger has not been as active as he once was. That doesn’t mean he is not disappearing from the golf spotlight so easily. While he has settled his clubs down for now, Tiger Woods is finding new ways to help and entertain the golf community.
Tiger has created the Blackjack National, a golf course outside of Houston, Texas. Within the course there is “The Playgrounds,” a 10-hold par-3 layout designed for young kids. To start off “The Playgrounds,” 11-year old Taylor Crozier was selected out of various kids to start the day on the tee, and he didn’t disappoint. Taylor hit a hole in one on his first shot.
Not a bad way to spend a school day if I do say so myself. While I am unsure of Taylor’s golfing history, I’m sure his name will one sound familiar to many. You can be certain the media will keep an eye on this young kid as he hopefully progresses his craft.
The look on Tiger’s face may have been of disbelief. Maybe he saw himself in that kid. Tiger has been a golfing machine since he was very little. By Taylor’s age, Tiger was already dominating the course. That was only a small sample of what was to come from the multiple-time champion. By making an impact as fast as he did, it looks like Taylor received some respect from Tiger Woods.
Golfers today are getting younger and stronger. Jordan Spieth is only 22 and has taken the golf world by storm. We could be seeing the next big thing with Taylor Crozier. For now, he’s just living in the moment.
