Who would Kristaps Porzingis love to dunk on the most? Why, Shaq of course.

New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis has taken the world by storm during his rookie season and has even become a bit of a cult hero in New York. Porzingis, originally booed at the NBA Draft by Knicks fans, represents a shining beacon of hope to a franchise that has had very little to cheer about in recent years. His dunks –especially his putbacks– and sweet moves have quickly made him one of the league’s must-see players.

When asked in a recent interview which player he would must like to dunk on, Porzingis gave a very bold answer: Shaq.

This stems from a time when Porzingis met Shaq. Shaq, to the surprise of nobody, was talking trash and implied that Kristaps Porzingis couldn’t dunk on him.

“He said I would never be able to dunk on him,” Porzingis said. “So, he would be the guy that I would want to dunk on.”

This is something that absolutely needs to happen. When two giants collide, the winners tend to be the fans. Porzingis stands at 7’3″ while Shaq is listed at 7’1″. Shaq is never one to back down from a challenge so expect the two giants to have a showdown for the ages at some point.
