LeBron James was flashing off the defensive skills on Friday night against the Wizards.
There has been a lot of news recently surrounding the Cleveland Cavaliers and LeBron James, most of it being negative. However, no matter what’s out there in the press, James and the Cavaliers have a huge showdown on Friday night against the Washington Wizards and LeBron wanted to show everyone that he’s focused.
And boy, did he ever early on.
LeBron not only flashed off the dunking skills that we all know he possesses by now, but he was showing off his defensive skills as well. On back-to-back possessions, James got a steal off the Wizards and then took it right home for the jam.
Now that’s the defensive ferociousness that helped get this team to the NBA Finals last year and even allowed them to win two games against the Golden State Warriors. James and the Cavaliers have struggled on the defensive side of the ball this year at time, but there was no struggling here.
Not to mention, it will help take the heat off of everything if there are more plays like this.
