A look at the field for the 2016 MAC Tournament as well as a printable bracket to use
The month of March has finally arrived, which means that it’s time for March Madness. Now while everyone thinks of the NCAA Tournament when it comes to March Madness, the fact of the matter is that it all really starts with the conference tournaments. One of these that we will be treated to is the MAC Tournament.
This year the MAC Tournament will begin on March 9, with the title game being held on March 12. The venue will be the Quicken Loans Arena, home of the Cleveland Cavaliers.
When it comes to the No. 1 seed this year, that distinction goes to the Akron Zips after their outstanding regular season. However, with the likes of Ohio, Buffalo and Central Michigan waiting in the wings to knock them off, getting through this field will be far from easy.
