The Western Conference will once again be the highlight of the NBA action this week.

Every week, our friends over at Sports Illustrated and the folks at ScoreBig get together and they provide us with some insight on what are the best NBA games coming up for the week. For this upcoming week, we’re going to be treated to some pretty monster match ups in the tough Western Conference as teams chase the Golden State Warriors.

Here’s a look at the must-watch games that we have coming up for the week ending on March 12.

  • Celtics vs. Grizzlies, March 9
  • Thunder vs. Clippers, March 9
  • Lakers vs. Cavaliers, March 10
  • Warriors vs. Trail Blazers, March 11
  • Spurs vs. Thunder, March 12

All eyes will indeed be on the Western Conference this week. While the Golden State Warriors are indeed the best the conference has to offer, they have the likes of the Spurs, Thunder and Clippers chasing them. This week we get what should be another entertaining bout between the Thunder and the Clippers, as Oklahoma City looks to avenge that terrible loss from last week.

Then to finish out the week, after the Thunder have already played the Clippers, they will have to take on the No. 2 team in the conference at this point in the San Antonio Spurs. It’ll be a rough week for Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and company, so we’ll learn a lot about where this team is headed.

And of course, the Lakers vs. Cavaliers game brings a lot of intrigue because in Kobe Bryant’s final season, you want to savor every moment that he’s on the floor with LeBron James.
