Minnesota Vikings

Andre Johnson could be the missing piece of the puzzle for an exciting and growing Minnesota Vikings squad. They have some excellent young deep threats including Stefon Diggs. However, they lack a true possession receiver, as Diggs led the team with 52 receptions while tight end Kyle Rudolph had 49. Johnson is a very reliable possession receiver who could be just what young quarterback Teddy Bridgewater needs to further his development.

When you look at young quarterbacks, the ones who succeed usually have a “security blanket” – a receiver who they know that they can rely on to catch what is thrown their way. That’s something that Bridgewater has never had. Johnson could be that guy for Bridgewater just like Derrick Mason was for Joe Flacco in Baltimore and Reggie Wayne was for Andrew Luck in Indianapolis.

Minnesota is a team that could be on their way to a Super Bowl if they improve their offense. Their defense has been superb and is definitely good enough to hold pretty much any lead that they get. All the Vikings need to do is upgrade their offense. Andre Johnson would definitely help with that, as he would have been the second leading receiver on the Vikings last season.
