A look at the field for the 2016 ACC Tournament with a printable bracket to use as well

The 2016 NCAA Tournament will tip off in just over a week and college basketball fans can hardly contain their excitement over what could be an incredible mad March Madness. Before that can happen, though, the conference tournament champions must be crowned. One of the most important champions yet to be crowned is the one out of the 2016 ACC Tournament.

Keeping three to four teams in the national top-15 rankings for what feels like entire season, the ACC is one of the strongest conferences in the sport this season. However, the North Carolina Tar Heels captured the top spot, followed by the No. 2 Virginia Cavaliers, the No. 3 Miami Hurricanes, and the No. 4 Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Those four teams will receiver a bye to the quarterfinals, with the No. 5 Duke Blue Devils and below not receiving such benefits.

In fact, the bottom four seeds will play in the first round as pseudo play-in games. Those four teams that will start the action on Tuesday, March 8 will be the No. 11 Florida State Seminoles, the No. 12 NC State Wolfpack, the No. 13 Wake Forest Demon Deacons, and the No. 14 and winless-in-the-ACC-in-the-regular-season Boston College Golden Eagles.
