FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup-March 5

There are eight NBA games lined up for this Saturday night providing a strong pool of options for my FanDuel daily picks highlighting the best DFS fantasy basketball plays of the day.

Jimmy Butler’s return against James Harden and the Rockets highlights a busy Saturday night in the NBA with eight games lined up for tonight. Tonight’s FanDuel contests get underway with a flourish at 7:00 PM ET as rosters lock and four games get underway. The Pacers are in Washington to face the Wizards, the Jazz return to New Orleans to face the Pelicans, the Knicks welcome in the Pistons, and the Cavs host the Celtics in a one versus three matchup based on current playoff positioning. At 8:00, the Nets are in Minnesota to face the T-Wolves. At 8:30, the ABC primetime game will focus on the Rockets visiting the Bulls in a matchup of the two SG pictured above while at the same time Boogie and the Kings are also in action as they face the Spurs. In the final game of the night, the Hawks play in LA for the second straight night–this team they’ll take on Chris Paul and the Clippers.

With those 16 teams in action tonight, there are some big-name stars and some nice sleeper picks as well. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. To help you realize that goal, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible. I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
