Previous: . Minnesota Timberwolves. 4. team. 86.
The Wolves have too much talent to be this bad.

Karl-Anthony Towns is the best young big man to enter the league since Anthony Davis, Andrew Wiggins is a potential stud and Minnesota has other reasonably attractive assets. However, the Wolves are poorly coached (to be kind) and they are brutal on the defensive end of the floor, to the point where they are running neck and neck with the Lakers for the current title of “worst defense in the NBA”.

There are flashes of relevance when they put it together, but recent play suggests the Wolves belong here.
. (19-43)

(16-46). Previous: . Phoenix Suns. 3. team. 66.
It is almost unfathomable that the current version of the Suns could win two games in a week, but it just happened. Phoenix upended the Grizzlies at home to begin the week, and they followed that up with a dominant, 18-point road win in Orlando on Friday night.

To be frank, the Magic should be ashamed for losing by nearly 20 points to this group in any venue, but if we look past that, the Suns should be given some credit for their play over a seven-day period. If we’re honest, Phoenix is probably still the worst team in the NBA right now, but they get a reprieve in this week’s edition.
