A look at the field for the 2016 AAC Tournament as well as a printable bracket to use
On this Sunday, we have officially reached the end of the college basketball regular season. That’s no reason to be sad, however, as that means it’s time to get set for March Madness, which really starts with the conference tournaments.
One of the tournaments that we’ll be treated to this week is from the AAC, better known as the American Athletic Conference.
This year things are a little out of whack, as the favorite in this tournament cannot take part. In reality, the SMU Mustangs would have been the pick among many to take home the title in this format, but because of sanctions they will not be participating in any postseason activities this year.
So with that being the case, the No. 1 seed Temple Owls will be looked at by a lot of people to come away with the conference crown when this one is all said and done. But make no mistake about it, there are a plethora of talented teams in this field, including Houston, Tulsa and especially Cincinnati. Really, this one could be anyone’s for the taking.
Here’s a look at the complete field for the 2016 AAC Tournament, and if you’d like a printable version of the bracket, just simply click on the picture below.
The AAC Tournament for this year will begin on March 10 and it will run through March 13.
