Kurt Busch was clocked speeding on pit row during the Kobalt 400.
After leading for the first 30 laps of the Kobalt 400, Kurt Busch was forced to pass through pit row again after being clocked for speeding on segment four. He wasn’t speeding when he entered, but was caught above the 45 mph speed limit partway down pit row.
As a result, Busch had to pass through pit row at the legal speed and ended up at the back of the field. He was the pole winner and led all the laps leading up to the competitive caution when it came out at the beginning of lap 31.
Kurt Busch: "Whenever NASCAR f------ grows up and goes to a pit road speed limiter button, we'll all have a safer pit road."

Busch was frustrated after the incident and thinks NASCAR needs to have a better dashboard that clearly tells them when they are at the pit row speed. It’s a valid issue and something that may cause change down the stretch, but drivers should know when they are speeding down pit row. For now though, Busch has no one to blame but himself for not driving the pit road speed limit.
It’s a major mistake for Busch as he no longer leads the race, and he will have to work through the field to get up at the front again. With the wind at Las Veags and the chance for crazy incidents high, Busch could find himself at the front of the field before the race is over.
