The Kobe Bryant inspired socks that the Lakers will wear against the Warriors on March 6th are either the best socks ever or the worst socks ever.
The Los Angles Lakers will be losing the face of their franchise when guard Kobe Bryant retires after this NBA season. Bryant has been honored nearly every game as NBA teams have thanked Bryant for his years of service to the league. One of the most unique tributes to Bryant will come from his own team. On Sunday March 6th, the Lakers will wear socks inspired by Kobe.
Depending on how you look at them, these are either the best socks ever or the worst socks ever. It’s a great tribute to arguably the NBA’s most popular player in the post-Michael Jordan era. Bryant will inevitably see himself inducted into the Hall of Fame one day. Perhaps he should be accompanied by a pair of those beautiful socks. They pay tribute to his entire career from his days of wearing number eight with his afro to his days of wearing number 24 and being the Black Mamba.
Perhaps these socks will distract Steph Curry from lighting up the Lakers on Sunday? Even if they don’t, a classy tribute from an organization who owes so much to Kobe Bryant.
