Brandon Marshall has made an amusing video with teddy bears impersonating himself and Ryan Fitzpatrick scoring a touchdown, indicating he wants the quarterback to stay in New York.

NFL free agency is well and truly underway. There have been some major trades already, mainly involving the Philadelphia Eagles ridding themselves of many of Chip Kelly’s acquisitions. One such story line that will run throughout the free agency period is the future of New York Jets’ quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick. Brandon Marshall, the Jets’ number one wide receiver, is clearly of the thinking that Fitzpatrick should stay with the organization.

In a wonderfully made video, Marshall re-enacts one of the many touchdowns the two have linked up for this past season with a teddy bear. With a high-pitched commentary from Marshall, the teddy bear drops back, releases a bomb down the sideline, and the video then cuts to another bear catching the ball with shouts of “TOUCHDOWN!”

"Seems like Brandon Marshall realllllly wants the Jets to re-sign QB Ryan Fitzpatrick… (via @BMarshall)https://t.co/f7R3NwnEqu— Bleacher Report (@BleacherReport) March 7, 2016"

Marshall is always an interesting character and is not one for keeping his thoughts to himself. In this rather clear video, he is telling the Jets and Fitzpatrick to come to an agreement and re-sign their quarterback to a long-term deal.

Fitzpatrick performed well this past season, throwing for 3,905 yards with 31 touchdowns and 15 interceptions. However, Ian Rapoport is reporting that the two are far away in their valuations, and he could be set to hit the open market.

If Fitzpatrick does indeed hit the open market, there are plenty of quarterback needy sides that would happily pay Fitzpatrick. If that is the case, then Brandon Marshall may well not get his way, and will be catching passes from someone else.
