Brock Osweiler attacked outside pizza joint (Video)

Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler was allegedly attacked but refused to fight back.
Peyton Manning retiring on Monday meant that the Brock Osweiler era in Denver has officially begun. He has yet to sign his new contract with the team, which will only increase with the retirement of Manning, but he’s largely viewed to be the guy for the future with the Broncos.
But off-field things have a way of factoring into things like this, and Osweiler has apparently already been confronted with this reality.
TMZ posted a video on Monday that alleges Osweiler was attacked while getting pizza but refused to fight back.
The fact that Osweiler refused to fight back is one of the smartest moves he’s made since coming into the league. So many times we’ve seen guys close to their big break blow it because of something that happens away from the football field, and Osweiler was confronted with this fork in the road situation.
If he throws a punch, the Manning retirement thing takes a totally different direction. Luckily for Osweiler, he did the right thing and the story is about how he refused to fight back rather than how much money he just lost by making a rash decision in the heat of the moment.
Ostweiler will leave his fumbling to strictly on the field and not off it.
