WrestleMania 33 has a home, and it will be taking place in Orlando, Florida once again
We are currently on the Road to WrestleMania 32, which means that it’s sort of time to look ahead and find out where WrestleMania 33 will be taking place. Now, with WrestleMania 32 in Dallas right around the corner, we know that answer.
According to PW Insider, WrestleMania 33 will be taking place on April 2 of 2017, and the event will emanate live from the Citrus Bowl. A press release was sent out by the city of Orlando, noting that the official announcement will be taking place during a press conference with city officials on Tuesday.
This will be the second time in nine years that the biggest event in all of professional wrestling will be in Orlando inside the Citrus Bowl. Back in 2008, we were treated to WrestleMania 24 from that location, and that featured matches such as Triple H vs Randy Orton vs John Cena for the WWE Championship, The Big Show vs Floyd Mayweather and the main event that was The Under taker vs Edge for the World Heavyweight Championship.
You may also remember this event where the incident took place at the end of the show involving Undertaker’s fireworks burning some spectators in attendance. There will definitely be some extra precautions taken this time around, that much you can certainly bet on.
But, that’s the news. As we get set for WrestleMania 32 coming up on April 3, we can now all start talking about and making predictions for WrestleMania 33 in Orlando next April 2.
