FanDuel NBA Picks For March 8

Here at Fantasy CPR we work very hard and do everything that we can to bring you articles to prepare you, and help you be successful with your bids and games at FanDuel and DraftKings just as we have with MLB and NBA. I always recommend that you do plenty of homework on your own as well as reading our articles. You will also want to make sure that you have access to your FanDuel lineup prior to the games start time in case a player is a last-minute scratch.

Here are my FanDuel NBA Picks For March 8:

Next: Point Guards

Mar 2, 2016; Orlando, FL, USA; Orlando Magic guard Elfrid Payton (4) guards against Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose (1) during the second half of a basketball game at Amway Center. The Magic won 102-89. Mandatory Credit: Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

Point Guards:

PG – Elfrid Payton – Payton has seemed to take control of the reigns of the starting point guard spot with the Magic. Last night Jennings had a bit of a better game and played more down the stretch than Payton, however I think that Payton is still the guy we want here. The Magic will want to continue to develop Payton down the stretch here.

PG – Patrick MillsTony Parker left last night’s game with a toe contusion. It does not take much for the Spurs to rest players and this should give Mills the start and plenty of run tonight. The caveat here is that Mills was already a good value play even with Parker in the lineup and only stands to benefit if Parker is out.

Next: Shooting Guards

Mar 5, 2016; Minneapolis, MN, USA; Minnesota Timberwolves guard Zach LaVine (8) dunks as Brooklyn Nets guard Wayne Ellington (21) looks on during the second quarter at Target Center. Mandatory Credit: Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

Shooting Guards:

SG – Zach LaVine – LaVine had been a pretty solid value play as of late. He is averaging right around 28 fantasy points per game and has shown the flash and upside to score plenty more. I am rolling with LaVine and expecting a solid night for him.

SG – DeMar DeRozan – DeRozan has been a heck of a player for the Raptors this season. There are only 6 games tonight and I like DeRozan as a solid play for this contest tonight.

Next: Small Forwards

Small Forwards:

SF – Kawhi Leonard – Leonard has been showing out lately and proving that he is an elite NBA player. He has been averaging a little over 40 fantasy points and that makes him a great price for this contest.

SF – Gordon Hayward – Hayward has also been playing pretty well as of late. He makes for a great play in this contest and fits in this squad nicely. Go ahead and get him active tonight.

Next: Power Forwards and Center

Mar 5, 2016; Minneapolis, MN, USA; Minnesota Timberwolves center Karl-Anthony Towns (32) is congratulated by guard Ricky Rubio (9) during the second half against the Brooklyn Nets at Target Center. The Timberwolves won 132-118. Mandatory Credit: Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports

Power Forwards:

PF – Aaron Gordon – Gordon is literally smoking hot lately. Not only did he have an incredible show at the dunk contest, but he has been smoking since the Magic cleared up more minutes by trading Tobias Harris. He has been over 30 fantasy points in all but two of his last several games and makes an excellent value for daily leagues.

PF – Gorgui Dieng – Dieng has been hot as well lately, but has been a bit more up and down. Nonetheless he should make for an excellent value play and be good for us tonight. Get him active and watch him rack up the points for us tonight.

Center:

C – Karl-Anthony Towns – Towns has just been a beast all season long. He has had two straight 50 plus point fantasy games and should be an incredible play for us tonight as well. Towns is a great talent and is tearing it up for the Timberwolves.
