The 2015-16 Golden State Warriors continue to be unbelievable on the court, setting an NBA record Monday night by winning their 45th straight home game.

Fresh off their embarrassing road loss to the lowly Pacific Division rival Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center on national television Sunday afternoon, the Golden State Warriors immediately got back to their winning ways by topping the Orlando Magic, 119-113 at home Monday night.

Not only did this win give the Warriors their 56th victory of the 2015-16 NBA season, but it also helped Golden State set an NBA record by winning their 45th straight game at home. The last time the Warriors dropped a game at Oracle Arena was during a regular season contest against the Chicago Bulls over a year ago on January 27, 2015 in overtime 113-111.

USA Today’s Sam Amick points out that the Warriors had won their previous 19 games at Oracle Arena before that late January loss to the Bulls last season. That means Golden State has won 64 of their last 65 home games, boasting a staggering .985 winning percentage at home during the regular season in the last 13 plus months!

While this is certainly an impressive winning streak at home, the Western Conference rival San Antonio Spurs have a massive active home winning streak of their own. The Spurs have won 39 straight games at AT&T Center and are a perfect 30-0 at home in 2015-16.

These two Western Conference juggernauts have three more regular season meetings before they hopefully get to face off in the Western Conference Finals in late May. Golden State clobbered San Antonio, 120-90, on January 25th at Oracle Arena.

However with the current trends in place and the unbelievable home court advantages these colossal teams have on their side, that might mean the Warriors will have at least two more losses during their historic 2015-16 NBA season. San Antonio apparently doesn’t lose at home either.
