5. Has talent around him

The good news about going to Houston is that Brock Osweiler is going to have talent around him. The team signed Lamar Miller to give Osweiler a great running back behind him and they also have emerging superstar wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins on the roster.

Needless to say, if the Texans are going to commit a ton of money to Osweiler, they have to surround him with talent on the team and they are already doing a fantastic job of putting big names around him going forward. Whether it’s a running back that can run or catch or a superstar wide receiver, Osweiler is going to have his choice of weapons.

The Texans were miserable on offense last season, but a lot of that was because of their quarterback situation. Despite the fact that Osweiler is a young quarterback with limited experience, his job will be a lot easier with the pieces on the roster around him.

If they can add more young talent around him in the draft, then the Texans have a great chance to see their offense take off. That would allow them to possibly soar to the top of a very winnable AFC South and give the team a competent matchup for any top team in the league.
