Aaron Gordon throws down windmill slam on Lakers (Video)

Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon threw down a monster windmill slam on the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Aaron Gordon dunk train has arrived at Staples Center station on Tuesday night, and the Los Angeles Lakers were the latest team that the Orlando Magic forward threw a dunk down on. His latest highlight came courtesy of a Lakers’ turnover.

With the Magic out on a fast break, Gordon and Victor Oladipo had a little give and go between each other and Oladipo found Gordon just as he was beginning to take off. Not only did Gordon take off for a big slam, he had enough to load up a giant windmill slam.

Dunks like that are usually only seen in the Slam Dunk Contest, but Gordon is one of the rare exceptions that is talented enough to break out a windmill during the middle of game action.

Gordon may not have won the Slam Dunk Contest this year, but he elevated himself and raised his game to a point that he’s becoming one of the most explosive young players in the league.

The Magic have young talent and they’re hoping that they can begin to take that next step. Seeing two of them connect for a big play is always a good sign.
