DePaul Blue Demons vs. Georgetown Hoyas
Both the DePaul Blue Demons and the Georgetown Hoyas enter the 2016 Big East Tournament largely having disappointing regular seasons, but still looking to salvage something from the year. They’ll have to do that against one another on Wednesday evening at Madison Square Garden as they face off in the first round of the Big East Tournament.

Georgetown has by far the most dangerous player in this matchup in D’Vauntes Smith-Rivera, who can absolutely tear it up at a moments notice and could very well reach that level in the Big East Tournament. However, the Hoyas will need the likes of Isaac Copeland and L.J. Peak to step alongside Smith-Rivera if they’re to have any kind of success. As for the Blue Demons, Myke Henry is the player to keep an eye on as conference tournament plays, but both Billy Garrett Jr. and Eli Cain need to step up if DePaul is going to advance in the Big East Tournament.
