The crazy scoring in DFS fantasy basketball came back to earth a little last night as most teams had a fairly typical roster and rotation at their disposal. Tonight shapes up to be another wild ride, though, with nine games on the schedule and 18 teams in action.  There is plenty of star power with Boogie, the Beard, and the Champs all in action as well as the dynamic duo from OKC and The King. With so many options, there is plenty to sort through as you build your fantasy roster tonight, so check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides to see the players I think are most in a place to produce.

More from Cleveland Cavaliers

The night gets off to a fast start with three games tipping off at 7:00 PM ET which is when rosters will lock on FanDuel. In those 7:00 games, James Harden leads the Rockets into Phily, the Hornets host Anthony Davis and the Pelicans, and the Celtics face whoever the Grizzlies can recruit to roll out on the floor in Boston.  At 8:00, the Bucks and Heat meet followed at 8:30 by Detroit and Dallas.  At 9:00, the Suns host the Knicks who look to avoid dropping both halves of their back-t0-back, and at 9:30 the Clippers visit OKC to take on the Thunder in an important game in the battle for the third-seed in the West. We wrap up the night with two West Coast games as the Cavs and LeBron visit Cousins and the Kings followed at 10:30 by the Warriors taking on the Jazz in the nightcap.

With so many teams in action, we have a ton of good options tonight with some big stars and some value plays.  To see the players I think are the best options for tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. To help you realize that goal, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one for high-salary options and one for high-value options. Each slide contains at least two selections with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.

At this point in the season, playing time can fluctuate widely from night-to-night. Some injuries or late scratches are unavoidable, but it’s critical that you stay informed and as up to date as possible.  I try to update my lineups about an hour before gametime if necessary and keep you up to date on the latest on Twitter as well.
