The New York Giants have reportedly agreed to terms with nose tackle Damon Harrison.

Damon Harrison is reportedly going to a different team, but he is keeping the same stadium as a home. Harrison, who spent the first four seasons of his career with the New York Jets, has agreed to a long-term deal with the New York Giants, according to multiple sources.

It remains unclear how many years the deal is for, but the money is legitimate for a nose tackle. Harrison has really made a name for himself over the past few seasons, highlighted by 72 tackles and eight stuffs in 2015. The Jets probably felt they could afford to let Harrison walk with a defensive line of Muhammad Wilkerson, Leonard Williams and Sheldon Richardson.

The Giants are desperately trying to upgrade the defense, with Harrison coming over only hours after the team agreed to terms with cornerback Janoris Jenkins on a five-year deal worth more than $60 million in total. New York is hoping to make the playoffs in 2016 for the first time since winning Super Bowl XLVI.
