NFL Free Agency: Houston Texans agree to four-year deal with Lamar Miller
The Houston Texans have reportedly found their replacement for Arian Foster in Lamar Miller.
The Houston Texans needed to find a new running back after deciding to part ways with longtime stalwart Arian Foster. They didn’t take long to find his replacement as they have reportedly agreed to terms with former Miami Dolphins running back Lamar Miller. ESPN’s Adam Schefter says the two sides agreed on a four-year deal that guarantees Miller $14 million and could be worth as much as $26 million.
The 24-year old running back has one season with over 1,000 rushing yards (2014). In 2015, Miller rushed for 872 yards and tied his career high with eight touchdowns. He set career highs with 47 receptions, 397 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. His ten combined touchdowns were also a career high. Miller is a versatile back who should do a great job replacing Foster.

Miller supposedly was unhappy with his role in Miami. Yet he showed some promise with the Dolphins, and his youth is a definite asset for the Texans, as Miller will be just 28 years old if he plays out his entire four-year deal.
