Illinois Fighting Illini vs. Iowa Hawkeyes
The Illinois Fighting Illini had a rough regular season, but were able to advance to the second round of the 2016 Big Ten Tournament with a victory on Wednesday. Needing the automatic bid to make it into the field of 68, the Illini will now face a monstrous test in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament as they will take on the Iowa Hawkeyes in Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Thursday.

Jarrod Uthoff has been one of the most dominant forces in the conference all season for the Hawkeyes, but Iowa will need that and more throughout the Big Ten Tournament to be at their best. In addition to Uthoff, Iowa will also need players like Peter Jok and Adam Woodbury to really step up in the biggest of moments. As for Illinois, they’re going nowhere without Malcolm Hill and their star will need to step up in the biggest of ways if they are to make a Cinderella run in the Big Ten Tournament.
