Tennessee Volunteers vs. Vanderbilt Commodores
The Tennessee Volunteers ran right through the first round of the 2016 SEC Tournament on Wednesday, even as they’re still incredibly short-handed. Now they’ll face a huge in-state test in the quarterfinals of the SEC Tournament on Thursday as they take the floor in Bridgestone Arena against the hometown Vanderbilt Commodores.

Damian Jones leads the way into the SEC Tournament for Vanderbilt as by far the most dominant presence for the Commodores this season. However, a couple of sharp-shooting guards in Wade Baldwin IV and Matthew Fisher-Davis will need to be able to fill it up on Thursday if Vandy is to avoid being upset in their first SEC Tournament matchup. As for Tennessee, they’ll need to again step up as a unit without Kevin Punter and Robert Hubbs III in the lineup, which means that Armai Moore will likely be looked upon to lead the way. It’ll be a tall task, but the Volunteers can makes some serious noise in the SEC Tournament.
