Tulane Green Wave vs. UCF Knights
The bottom of the AAC this season has been less than stellar, but that doesn’t mean that a dark horse can’t emerge in the 2016 AAC Tournament. The two most obvious candidates to become a Cinderella type would be the Tulane Green Wave and UCF Knights as both were bottom dwellers in the regular season conference standings, but will now face off in the first round of the AAC Tournament.

Louis Dabney has been big-time for the Green Wave all season and will certainly need to be just that on Thursday as they start their AAC Tournament run. However, Tulane will also require both Malik Morgan and Dylan Osetkowski rising to the occasion if they plan on making things happen and trying to earn and automatic bid to the Big Dance. As for the Knights, they’ll need any one of a number of players to step up as they haven’t had much of a star all season, but A.J. Davis or Adonys Henriquez seem like the most likely candidates.
