Michigan State alum Draymond Green couldn’t focus during an interview after the Warriors‘ win because of a Michigan shirt.
In the NBA, there has been no better interview recently than Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green. He has never been afraid to speak his mind and has delivered some of the best quotes and memorable moments after games in front of the press.
He’s also a proud Michigan State alum and loves his program just as much as he loves winning games with the Warriors. By being a good alum, it means he detests the Michigan Wolverines as well. After the Warriors’ win over the Jazz, Green was giving an interview to a bunch of reporters when he noticed one wearing a Michigan shirt.
From there, Green’s chances of giving the interview were over, as he could simply not concentrate on anything else but the reporter wearing the Michigan shirt.
One of the interviewers even tried to remind him the topic that he was discussing before he got distracted, but it was to no avail. He loves Michigan State so much that he can’t even talk about the impact that Andre Iguodala brings because of a Michigan shirt being near him.
Perhaps fans of opposing teams will start wearing Michigan shirts to distract him.
