UConn guard Jalen Adam’s crazy buzzer-beater in triple overtime got the Jim Ross treatment it deserves

There have been numerous crazy moments in college basketball even before conference tournament got underway, but things have only gotten wilder with March Madness kicking into gear. There has been no moment that can hold a candle to the insanity of UConn Huskies guard Jalen Adams burying a three-quarter-court buzzer-beater in triple overtime against the Cincinnati Bearcats on Friday in the AAC Tournament quarterfinals.

With less than a second on the clock, Adams threw up a prayer that somehow went in to force a fourth overtime in a bonkers AAC Tournament clash. As all big sporting moments deserve these days, Adam’s miracle buzzer-beater has now gotten the “Jim Ross treatment” with the legendary WWE commentator’s track laid over the play:

As far as Jim Ross’d videos go, this is up there with the best of them. The sound of the table breaking right as the shot falls through the net is absolutely perfect in a way that many of these are just a bit off. And yes, Jalen Adams most definitely did kill Cincinnati with that shot.

Let’s hope that this isn’t the last moment in March Madness that is deserving of the Jim Ross treatment. This is what college hoops is all about—the moments that are seemingly impossible becoming reality, God Almighty!
