NFL free agency is only in its third day, but we can already call the winners and losers.

In 2016, NFL free agency was what it has always been; a rat race. Some teams are going crazy, knowing they can get wild with fistfuls of cash. Others, typically the teams that are already doing plenty of winning, are more reserved, understanding that much of free agency is Fool’s Gold.

March 9 signaled the beginning of a new year for the national Football League and with it, over $1 billion spent in a single day. Money was flying around with a whirlwind of players, agents, franchises and fans caught in the middle, left to wonder what the hell just happened.

Of course, there are some teams that made all the right moves, most of which were retaining their own players. Then there were others, throwing wads of cash at players who are simply the best available, something that should warn people in the term itself. If the player is perceived to be a quality player and is available, why hasn’t his old team kept him on board?

Let’s look at 10 teams which distinctly won, or lost, in 2016 NFL free agency.
