Kentucky got a huge win in the SEC Tournament on Saturday and Jamal Murray had some fun
Saturday brought us the SEC Tournament semifinals, and the second game that we were treated to featured the Kentucky Wildcats taking on one of the bubble teams, the Georgia Bulldogs. While they had to come back, Kentucky may have burst the bubble of the Bulldogs, coming away with the 93-80 win when all was said and done.
This Kentucky team is on a roll once again, so of course they’re all having fun with it, especially freshman guard Jamal Murray.
Following the game, the freshman jokester took it upon himself to get in on the action of the John Calipari post-game interview.
Really, you can’t blame Murray for being so loose, as he had another monster game in this one. Murray finished the win over Georgia with 26 points, six rebounds and two assists. He’s been coming along all year for this team and he’s heating up at the right time.
This is a Kentucky team that is really loose right now, and that can really only mean bad things for teams coming up in the NCAA Tournament, and even Texas A&M in the final on Sunday.
