Take a look at the updated Big 12 Tournament bracket after Friday’s semifinals.

With just one more day left in the Big 12 Tournament, four teams vied for a spot in the conference tourney title game. With all four potentially playing for a top-two or three seed in the NCAA Tournament, only two could come out on top and only one will likely get a No. 1 seed.

The evening’s first contest was between No. 1 seed Kansas and fifth-seeded Baylor. The Bears kept it close for most of the game, but the Jayhawks proved to be too much for Baylor to handle.

Perry Ellis, like he has done so many times for Kansas in the past, led the Jayhawks to victory with his veteran presence as well as his 20-point performance. The play of the night had to be Wayne Selden’s monstrous dunk, though.

Game two slotted No. 2 West Virginia against No. 3 Oklahoma in yet another intriguing Friday night contest. The regular season is usually dead on Fridays, but tournament time changes everything.

This game was incredible as Buddy Hield was stifled all night and held to just six points, but was about a tenth of a second away from being nine as he made a half-court shot that would have won the game, but it was waved off after review. Held was already celebrating the win, but it was just a fraction late and the Mountaineers won, 69-67.
