High Value PG

Darren Collison-Sacramento Kings (5,300): Collison has been starting along side Rajon Rondo and has posted 25 fantasy points or more in three of his last four games.  He has at least six assists in each of  his last four games and is helping run the point in the Kings up-tempo attack.  He is a solid option at just over 5K as long as he continues to start, but he is in a bad matchup for wings against the Jazz stout defense.

Shelvin Mack-Utah Jazz (4,300): Mack has proven to be a solid deadline acquisition for the Jazz and has been serving as the teams starting PG. His results have been a little inconsistent, but he does have at least 21 fantasy points in four of his last five including two games with over 30 fantasy points. From this price point, that’s a very nice return.  He comes into a good matchup against the Kings tonight off a career-high 27 points against the Wizards on Friday, so look for Mack if you’re spending under 6K on a PG tonight.

Jerryd Bayloess-Milwaukee Bucks (4,200): The other cheap PG that I like today is the Bucks Jerryd Bayless who is the last PG standing in Milwaukee after O.J. Mayo and Michael Carter-Williams have been forced out due to injury.  Bayless has played 38, 40, and 40 minutes in his last three games and had a nice 33.8 fantasy points against the Pelicans last night on 17 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals.  He had over 30 fantasy points in two of his last three games, and is in a favorable matchup against the Nets tonight who have allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing PG on the season and the fourth-most of any NBA team over their last five games. Bayless doesn’t usually pile up assists, but he’s a solid scoring guard who is getting a ton of time for the Bucks. ∗∗
