These are the best fantasy picks for the 2016 Good Sam 500 at Phoenix International Raceway on Sunday.

Through three weeks of the season, NASCAR has had some interesting races. The first week at the Daytona 500 was a historic race with a historic finish that will be remembered forever. The races that followed at Atlanta Motor Speedway and Las Vegas Motor Speedway were a bit light on the action, but they certainly provided their own unique obstacles and challenges.

With three races in the books, three drivers have now punched their ticket to the Chase and will compete for a Sprint Cup Championship in the fall. This week stands the opportunity for a fourth driver to earn their spot into the playoffs of racing and it wall all go down at the 2016 Good Sam 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.

The track that is just a little over one mile is a road oval and it is a race that is usually won by veteran drivers because of the challenges that it provides. That means in fantasy terms, the best bets this week are going to be veteran drivers. Using the typical four-man driver format for fantasy, these four drivers are the best bets at the Good Sam 500 on Sunday.

Kyle Busch

Kyle Busch will be on the pole when the race begins on Sunday. He’s also been the most consistent driver this season. Although he doesn’t have a win yet, he’s going to win soon and there’s a good chance it could be on Sunday.

Jimmie Johnson

While Jimmie Johnson wrecked in qualifying, he’s one of the most consistent drivers at Phoenix International Raceway. Odds are he will work his way to the front very quickly on Sunday.

Kevin Harvick

No one dominates Phoenix like Kevin Harvick. He won the spring race at the track last season and he’s one of the favorites heading into this weekend.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. won the last Sprint Cup race that was ran at Phoenix in November. It may have been because of rain ending it early, but he’s a veteran that knows how to run the track.
