Nazem Kadri goes down taking two others with him (Video)

Toronto Maple Leafs’ forward, Nazem Kadri, falls to the ice and takes two other players with him.
While battling for the puck in front on the Detroit Red Wings’ net, Nazem Kadri falls and goes sliding towards the boards. Kadri ends up by the boards on his back with his legs up in the air, and Pavel Datsyuk cannot get out of the way fast enough, tripping over Kadri.
To complete the mini-pile up, Leo Komarov comes up the boards and falls over Datsyuk. Accidents like this happen with young teams like the Maple Leafs, but does not usually involve the two most veteran forwards.
The Maple Leafs and Red Wings were scoreless in the second period, but both teams have had goals disallowed. Both teams are playing for the second time in as many games.
Detroit is in a battle for their playoff lives, clinging to the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. A win against the Maple Leafs would keep the Red Wings close to the Pittsburgh Penguins who are one point ahead and won 5-3 earlier on Sunday versus the New York Rangers. The Philadelphia Flyers are only three points behind the Red Wings in ninth.
On the other side of the ice, Toronto sits firmly at the bottom of the league standings and are hoping for the first overall draft pick in June. After trading away many players ahead of the deadline, these last games of the season are being used as a way to get their young prospects valuable NHL experience prior to next season.
