The NCAA Tournament Selection Show is now two hours and people are already angry
Now that all the conference tournaments are out of the way, itβs finally time for the NCAA Tournament Selection Show so we can now start to fill out our brackets.
Before we did find out the brackets, though, people had really come to a realization that they may have forgotten about, that being the show was made two hours long this year. So to get things started, we got some lengthy analysis from the likes of Charles Barkley, Ernie Johnson, Kenny Smith and Doug Gottlieb.
So as you may imagine, when everyone had it hit them that this would be just two hours of a show that really could be about a half hour if CBS really wanted it to be, they were none too pleased on the internet as the conversing was going on.

I always thought one hour for the selection show was too long. Now it's two hours?? This is insufferable

Two hours for a #MarchMadness selection show is ridiculous. First 10 minutes pretty much a waste of time

Making the selection show two hours long was just completely unnecessary.

Dragging out the selection show for two hours. How long does it take to mention 64 teams?
