March Madness is finally here as Selection Sunday has arrived and the 68 teams that will compete for the right to be called college basketball’s national champion in the 2016 NCAA Tournament will be announced. It’s the best time of the year in college hoops and, in the eyes of many, in all of sports.

One of the predominant narratives coming into Selection Sunday is the parity throughout college basketball. It felt like there was a new No. 1-ranked team every week of the regular season as the previous No. 1 would lose in some sort of fashion. Not only did that make for a wild and hectic regular season, but also crazy conference tournaments. As a result, Selection Sunday should be pretty bonkers as well.

While we can do our best to predict the four No. 1 seeds that will be announced on Selection Sunday given the winners in the power conference tournaments and the teams that have been at the top of the national polls all season. Even still the level of parity means that even a No. 1 seed doesn’t guarantee anything close to an easy road for any given team this season.
