While college basketball is going to be on center stage for most of the week, the NBA starts the work week with a BANG of nine solid games on the schedule and a full night of DFS fantasy basketball options. With plenty of options to choose from tonight, a good place to start your research is my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides.

More from Charlotte Hornets

The action starts tonight at the typical 7:00 PM ET. The first game of the night is in Charlotte where the Hornets host the Mavericks followed by a pair of games at 7:30 featuring the Nuggets in South Beach and the Bulls visit the Raptors in “The North.” ESPN’s double-header tips at 8:00 when the Wizards host the Pistons as the Morris brothers face off in a battle of two Eastern Conference teams in the playoff hunt. Also at 8:00, the Rockets take on the injury-depleted Grizzlies while Russell Westbrook and Damian Lillard lead their teams into an important Western Conference game in OKC.  The last three games on the schedule come from out West starting with the Suns hosting Minnesota at 10:00. The two 10:30 starts include the Cavs and Jazz closing out the ESPN coverage with their game in Utah and the Pelicans and Warriors as Golden State looks to improve to 31-0 at ORACLE Arena.

There are lots of different ways to build your DraftKings team tonight, but there are a few key matchups to attack and to avoid at each position.  To see the players I think are ready to help you get a win tonight, check out my DraftKings daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.
