The NBA starts the work week off right with a jam-packed, nine-game slate of action including an ESPN double-header. There are plenty of good games on tap for tonight as teams continue to battle for playoff position coming down the stretch. If you’re planning on checking out one of the many FanDuel competitions tonight, a good place to start is my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides.

More from Chicago Bulls

The Hornets host the Mavericks to get us underway tonight at 7:00 PM ET  which is when FanDuel rosters will lock for the night.  Two more games get underway at 7:30 when the Nuggets are in South Beach and the Bulls visit the Raptors. ESPN’s double-header tips at 8:00 when the Wizards host the Pistons in a battle of two Eastern Conference teams in the battle for the last few spots. Also at 8:00, the Rockets take on the injury-depleted Grizzlies while Russell Westbrook and Damian Lillard lead their teams into an important Western Conference game in OKC.  The last three games on the schedule come from out West where the Suns host Minnesota at 10:00 and the Cavs and Jazz close out the ESPN coverage with their game in Utah scheduled for 10:30.  In one of the more power-packed fantasy games of the night, the Pelicans and Warriors also meet at 10:30 as Golden State looks to improve to 31-0 at ORACLE Arena.

There are a ton of ways to build your FanDuel team tonight, but there are a few key matchups to attack and to avoid at each position.  To see the players I think are ready to help you get a win tonight, check out my FanDuel daily picks on the following slides. My goal is to give you the information you need to build your own lineup that can bring home a win for your team tonight. In order to help you find the position and price-point that you need, you’ll find two slides per position in this post–one with high-salary options and one with high-value options. Each slide contains at least two options with extras thrown in where possible.  I base each pick on the current form of each player and the positional matchups each player will face in tonight’s game.

At the beginning of 2016, I  started to rank my picks using stars after each selection to show the strength of the pick. For a full explanation of the rating system, check out the last slide of this post, but in short, more stars means more confidence (on a point-per-dollar basis). On the final slide of the post, you can see my recent results at each level of confidence. Also on the final slide of the post, you can see how I’m putting together the best of my picks into my lineup for tonight’s competition. I suggest you build your own customized team with the players you like the most, but you’re welcome to see my lineups and use them as a place to get started.

In this post, all salary references and references to “fantasy points” refer to FanDuel pricing and scoring.  If you are looking for similar coverage specifically for DraftKings, check the box above for related posts or find the latest on our fantasy basketball hub.
