Last Two Standing: No. 1 Oregon and No. 2 Oklahoma

Despite the fact that there are some very good basketball teams in the West Region, the final two standing in the conference should be the top two seeds, the No. 1 Oregon Ducks and the No. 2 Oklahoma Sooners. Both teams have the respective depth to get through each side of the West Region Bracket.

For Oregon, to get to the Elite Eight, that likely means having to face the No. 4 Duke Blue Devils in the Sweet 16. Duke might have the stars on their team, but Oregon has the depth and a better overall roster than the Blue Devils if they are to meet.

If Oklahoma is to advance to the Elite Eight, then they’re going to have, in all likelihood, faced the No. 3 Texas A&M Aggies in the Sweet 16. The Sooners have a great roster, and even more importantly, they have the magic of Buddy Hield on their side.

Both teams have strong guard play and if they are to meet with a chance to the Final Four on the line, this game will become an instant classic between the two. Could the depth of Oregon and their defense be able to slow down Hield, Isaiah Cousins and Jordan Woodard?
