Russell Westbrook was flashing off a little bit of the defense on Monday night against the Blazers
There have been a lot of times this season where we have seen Russell Westbrook throw some dunks down with authority. As a matter of fact, there have been a handful of times where you would swear he was trying to take the rim right off, and you know what, maybe he was. Who knows?
But apparently, rims aren’t the only thing that he likes to take his anger out on. No, he also has no problem trying to take the air out of a basketball either.
Monday night with the Oklahoma City Thunder taking on the Portland Trail Blazers, Russ was guarding Maurice Harkless under the rim and Harkless thought he could get to the rim for the hoop.
Yeah, well … that wasn’t happening.

Yeah, now that was a block with authority.
Yet another reason you have to respect the basketball player that Russell Westbrook is. No matter what he’s doing out there on the court, he’s always doing it with the best effort that he has inside of him.
One of these days, though, he’s seriously going to break something.
