Paul George throws down spinning dunk after whistle (Video)
Indiana Pacers forward Paul George threw down a huge spinning dunk on the Boston Celtics after the whistle.
In the NBA, it always seems like every big shot or cool dunk always seems to go down after the whistle. Whether it’s a star player wanting to show off for the crowd or a player in the process of a deep shot, there tends to be some action after that excites the fans even if it doesn’t always count.
On Tuesday night, Indiana Pacers forward Paul George tried to show off for his home crowd during the team’s big win against the Boston Celtics. After the whistle had blown, George had a clear run at the hoop with the ball in his hands and decided to put down a dunk that would garner a 50 in any Slam Dunk Contest.
George, showing a resurgence in his lift, threw down a spinning dunk.
Regardless of if the shot didn’t count, anytime a player throws down a 360-degree dunk, it’s certainly a pleasure to watch. It’s a welcome sight for Pacers fans, as they have had to watch their star battle back from a serious knee issue.
As for the Boston Celtics, well at least they got a show.
